Your North Luzon Castaway adventure begins in Manila and takes you through Pampanga, the lahar trails of Mt. Pinatubo, the pine forests of Baguio, and into the remote mountains of Kalinga to meet the legendary tattoo artist, Apo Whang-Od. This is a journey that combines history, culture, and adventure. On Day 1, you will arrive in Manila and check into LubD Makati, one of the city’s most vibrant hostels. The evening is free to settle in, relax, or explore Makati’s cafés and nightlife. Day 2 begins with a guided city tour. You will walk through Rizal Park, explore the Museum of Natural History, and enjoy lunch inside Intramuros. The afternoon is spent exploring the walled city’s cobbled streets and fortifications, ending with a golden Manila sunset. On Day 3, you will travel north to Pampanga, checking in at the Clark Imperial Hotel. The evening is free for local dining or rest before the next day’s adventure. Day 4 is the highlight: the Mt. Pinatubo trek. After a 4:00 AM pick-up, you will ride a 4x4 across volcanic trails, stop at Toblerone Hills, and begin a 1.5-hour hike to the crater lake. By mid-morning, you will marvel at the turquoise waters of the caldera before descending to the crater’s edge. A cultural stop at the Aeta Community Center follows. In the afternoon, you will transfer to Baguio City, arriving by evening to check in at Mines View Park Hotel. Day 5 is a free day in Baguio. You can stroll through Burnham Park, go strawberry picking, or explore the city’s cafés, markets, and museums at your own pace. On Day 6, you will journey deeper into the Cordillera mountains on a six-hour drive to Kalinga. Upon arrival in Buscalan, you will check into Zendaya’s Buscalan Homestay and take a guided tour of the village. Day 7 is dedicated to meeting Apo Whang-Od, the last traditional mambabatok (traditional hand-tapping method). You may choose to receive a tattoo or simply witness her artistry. Afterward, you will travel back to Baguio. Finally, on Day 8, after breakfast, you will check out and conclude your unforgettable North Luzon Castaway experience.

Cancellation Policy

1. Booking & Payment A tour is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation email. To secure your spot, a non-refundable deposit is required. Full payment must be completed 60 days before the tour date. 2. Cancellations & Refunds Guest cancellations: Cancellations made 40+ days before the tour may be eligible for a refund. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable. Transfers to another tour date or guest may be allowed upon request. Operator cancellations: Tours require a minimum of 6 guests to proceed. If the minimum isn’t met 60 days prior, Bisdak Travels PH reserves the right to cancel the trip. If canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered a partial refund or a reschedule option. 3. Booking Changes All changes must be requested in writing and are subject to availability and possible fees. Changes to dates or number of guests must be made at least 30 days in advance. 4. Travel Insurance Guests must have travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and lost items. We recommend World Nomads. Bisdak Travels PH will not be held responsible for any losses due to lack of adequate insurance. 5. Health & Safety Guests are responsible for ensuring they are fit to join activities. Please inform us at the time of booking of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs. Bisdak Travels PH reserves the right to decline participation for safety reasons. 6. Inclusions & Exclusions Tour prices include only the services listed in the itinerary. Personal expenses, tips, optional activities, and insurance are not included unless stated. 7. Guest Conduct Respect for local culture and fellow travelers is expected at all times. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund. 8. Liability Bisdak Travels PH is not liable for any injury, loss, or damages unless caused by direct negligence. We are not responsible for delays due to weather, political issues, or other uncontrollable factors. 9. Force Majeure We are not liable for disruptions caused by events beyond our control such as natural disasters, strikes, or government actions. 10. Media Release Photos and videos taken during the tour may be used for Bisdak Travels marketing. Let us know in writing if you prefer not to be included. 11.
